Organic blankets are made from only organic materials. All are made from organic cotton in various weaves. There is one that is Certified Merino Wool. We also have throws made from organic cotton. The organic blankets are different weights for the changing seasons. Where there is a pattern it is all in the weave of the organic cotton. Most of the organic blankets come in Natural. Some you can choose White. The white organic blankets have been washed in Hydrogen Peroxide which is a natural whitener. Did you know that the mordant in dye is full of heavy metals that build up in your system, causing all kinds of health problems. There is always a little bleed off of dye no matter how much mordant is put in to make it colorfast. |
