Kapok Pillows Organic Kapok filling makes hypo allergenic pillows with organic cotton fabric covering it. A natural fiber from a renewable source, Kapok is harvested from the seedpods of the once-sacred Ceiba tree. This tree, known for its medicinal uses, also provides food, shelter and transportation for its ecosystem, including man. It is 8 times lighter than cotton and has a uniquely down-like quality without the allergic discomforts that down may cause. These kapok pillows are all hand-made and can vary up to 1" in size and will compress 1/3" in volume with regular use. DO NOT WASH! Sun and air will make your pillow fresh.
